AMBASSADOG FOR BIJOU’S BILL

Did you know that there is no law requiring pet groomer’s to be licensed in any state in the United States? Bijou’s Law hopes to change that. Our friend’s furbaby, Bijou, died during a routine trip to the groomer at a very well known pet store chain. Now Bijou’s mom Rosemary is working to keep other furbabies from the same tragic fate.

We could not be more proud to be part of this necessary push for change. In a country where furbabies are truly a part of the family, it makes no sense that there is no license requirement when people are handling such precious cargo! We constantly see news articles involving unnecessary, tragic deaths of furbabies during common grooming procedures. This needs to end!

New Jersey currently has a bill, Bijou’s Law, that will require dog groomers to be licensed in the State of New Jersey.

MisTricks is proud to be the Ambassadog for Bijou’s Law in California.

California is such a pet friendly state – let’s make it require our precious fur babies to be properly handled when they go to the groomers!
